Over the last several weeks we have been studying through the book of Joshua in our Bible Study on Sunday mornings. The word consecrate keeps coming up in the text as we study. It's even coming up in conversations outside of Sunday mornings. We believe the Lord is asking us to take some time to consecrate ourselves before Him just like He did with the people of Israel just before the crossed over the Jordan River into the Promise Land. Joshua 3:5 says this...Joshua said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." I don't know about you but I am hungry for God to do wonderful works in my life personally. I don't know about you, but I am anxious for the God of the universe to do wonderful works in our churches life-the kind of works that can only be explained by the powerful work of the Lord in our midst.
Join us the week of July 19-26 for a time to consecrate yourself before the Lord personally and for us as a church to consecrate ourselves before Him as we prepare for the next season in Bethel's history...
Be on the lookout later this week for the daily reading plan and more instructions for each of the steps as we seek to consecrate ourselves before the Lord!
